Sales Frequently Asked Questions
What tires do I need?
Cushion: Hard rubber/low profile tires that are primarily used in warehouse applications with clean floors that are free of debris. Although primarily designed for indoor use they can be used occasionally on hard packed chat or gravel but risk to tire damage and poor traction are greatly increased.
Pneumatic: Air filled tires that are designed to be used either inside or outside. These tires are a taller tire that provides additional ground clearance for the forklift and makes the unit more versatile in most applications. These tires are available in a Solid Pneumatic version as well. These tires work well where flats on air tires are a problem but ride quality is typically sacrificed.
Rough Terrain: Tires that are a tractor type tires and allow usage in loose dirt and muddy applications. The most common use for Rough Terrain tire lifts are construction, agricultural and lumber facilities. Rough Terrain tire forklifts are typically larger units and are more difficult to maneuver inside buildings.
